Another big weekend of Premier League football saw plenty of you turn your predictions into some big winnings over the past couple of days. There was no shortage of action even if Liverpool against Man City failed to live up to the hype! But there was a thriller at Old Trafford as Man Utd came from 2-0 down to beat Newcastle 3-2, while Arsenal and Chelsea filled their boots on Super Sunday, at Fulham and Southampton respectively. That wasn’t all that was going on over the past weekend, with Khabib v McGregor, Japanese GP, golf and NFL pools for you to play. Here’s a look at who won what:

Premier League Coupon: Our £500 guaranteed Coupon went all the way to the wire, with Tristan Chaplin coming top by just a point to scoop the £200 first prize. It all came down to Livepool’s title clash at home to Man City, with Riyad Mahrez’ late missed penalty costing Hoofaround69 first prize after going for an away win, which meant the draw came through for Tristan who held on to take home the cash. Among his eight correct predictions were wins for Everton at Leicester and Bournemouth’s impressive 4-0 victory at Watford, both scoring three points, so too did the draw between Burnley and Huddersfield. In the £10 and £25 games, the Professor won more than £220 for finishing joint top of the £10 pool and winning the £25 game outright.

Fantasy 5-A-Side: It was a comfortable win for TeeDeeEye53 in our £2 Fantasy game, who took home £50 for their team finishing 22 points clear of the rest. Cardiff’s Neil Etheridge scored 12 points as a x2 multiplier, despite his team’s 1-0 loss at Spurs, which would’ve been a bigger margin if it wasn’t for the Bluebirds keeper. Eden Hazard scored again for Chelsea to add 19 points, and that 3-0 victory at Southampton meant Saints defender Ryan Bertrand cost players with -4. But Gylfi Sigurdsson added 13 for his winner at Leicester, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang made the difference with 52 points as Banker, for his brace in Arsenal’s 5-1 thrashing of Fulham. Paullovatt won more than £120 by cleaning house in the £10 and £25 pools.

Beat the Streak Matchday 8: 11 players still remain on course for the £1million Jackpot in our week one Beat the Streak, after picking their eighth consecutive winner. That means they’re just 12 away from getting their hands on the million, but considering you can only pick each team once and many of the big six have been used up, it’s only going to get harder from here! It  Bookiebasher is looking the best equipped in terms of who they’ve got left to pick, with Arsenal, Man Utd and Man City still left in the bank so our matchday one pool could still go the distance.

It looked like the journey was going to be over for players across our various matchday pools when Man Utd were 2-0 behind at the break to Newcastle, but three goals in the final 20 minutes, including Alexis Sanchez’ last minute winner, sent those who picked a home win through. Spurs were the most popular pick across the board, with more than half the players who went through in our matchday eight game picking them, while plenty fell picking Burnley, who were held to a 1-1 draw at lowly Huddersfield.

Match Pool round-up: The pick of the action came at Old Trafford on Saturday evening, in a five goal thriller that eased the pressure on Jose Mourinho. It was looking like the end was nigh for Jose as Kenedy and Yoshinori Muto put Newcastle 2-0 up after just 10 minutes, which could have been a lot worse if it wasn’t for David de Gea. After being lucky to be only 2-0 down at the break, United came out for the second half with a purpose, and substitute Juan Mata made a big difference, making it 2-1 with 20 minutes to play, before Anthony Martial equalised just six minutes later. Old Trafford exploded when Sanchez netted in the final minute to leave Rafa Benitez and Newcastle searching for their first win of the season. Tristan Chaplin continued his winning run by picking up £35 in our £2 Match Pool, thanks to correctly predicting a home win, Martial to score at anytime and Banking either side to come from behind to win.

It was a disappointing stalemate between Liverpool and Man City, as both teams cancelled each other out in a cautious and cagey affair. In a game of very little chances, Mahrez missed a great chance from open play before smashing over his penalty with just minutes left. Mfcrip1986 picked up £50 in our guaranteed Match Pool, Banking a draw and picking two or fewer goals to be scored.

Elsewhere, CliveCooper won more than £200 by scooping all three Brighton v West Ham pools, with Glenn Murray’s first half winner proving enough for both the Seagulls and Clive. The Yog won our £2 Fulham v Arsenal pool, while Paullovatt scooped more than £120 for winning both the £10 and £25 games, and Mintman was the victor as Chelsea won 3-0 at Southampton.

Khabib v McGregor Predictor: Khabib Nurmagomedov beat Conor McGregor in the hotly anticipated fight at UFC 229, to retain his lightweight belt. Khabib dominated proceedings before forcing McGregor to tap out after locking in his rear-naked choke in round four. Things escalated after the fight as Khabib caused a melee, brawling with McGregor’s team. Our £2 Predictor was won by Stephenisard, who correctly predicted a Khabib win by submission in round four, while CliveCooper won more than £130 by cleaning up the £10 and £25 pools.

Japanese GP Fantasy Pick 6: Lewis Hamilton dominated the Japanese GP to move within touching distance of a fifth World Championship. Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas finished second while title rival Sebastian Vettel struggled but eventually ended up sixth. Our guaranteed Fantasy game was won by David2110, who picked up £30 for his winning team which included Hamilton, Daniel Ricciardo, Sergio Perez and Marcus Ericsson.

Best of the rest & what’s coming up: DirtyTackle scooped £30 in our £2 Sunday Handicap NFL Coupon, with CliveCooper continuing his winning run picking up £69 in the £25. Lucas Bjerregaard’s victory at the Dunhill Links Championship helped Salbags win £85 in our Fantasy Fourballs, with the Dane scoring 300 points in their four man team.

The international break means it’s a quieter week than usual, but there’s still plenty going on with the Sri Lanka v England ODI series, while Croatia host England in the UEFA Nations League so continue to come and turn your predictions into cash at i-pools!
