There was still no shortage of sporting drama this weekend, despite the league season concluding last week. The FA Cup final took centre stage on Saturday while the IPL group stage reached a dramatic conclusion with a bunch of teams battling for the final play off spot.

Here’s who won what across our Fantasy, Prediction and Match Pools this weekend.

FA Cup Final Match Pool: Chelsea lifted the FA Cup for the eighth time with a narrow 1-0 victory against Man Utd, with Eden Hazard’s first half penalty proving to be the winning goal. Hazard was bundled down in the box by Phil Jones and cooly slotted home as the Blues got their hands on their first piece of silverware in an otherwise disappointing season. Man Utd had their chances, with Alexis Sanchez having a goal ruled out for just straying offside, while Paul Pogba missed a free header late on. But Chelsea defended excellently in numbers, led by N’Golo Kante, to deny Jose Mourinho getting one over his old club.

Hippodrome won £65 of the guaranteed prize fund in our Match Pool, scoring 120 points for Banking a Chelsea win, while picking Hazard to score at anytime added 40. They also correctly predicted a penalty to be scored in our list of events question which scored 60 points.

We also ran a cup final Quickie, with 10 yes or no questions to answer, which ended in a four way tie. Hippodrome was again one of our winners, along with daveb87, paullovatt and FlopMyNutz who all scooped £22. All four players scored double points for Banking Chelsea to win the cup, along with answering no to a goal being scored in the first 20 minutes, yes to Man Utd to receive the first yellow card and Chelsea to score the last goal of the match.

Sunday Coupon: La Liga and Serie A ended their season’s in dramatic fashion. Fernando Torres scored twice on his farewell appearance for Atletico Madrid, who were held to a 2-2 draw by Eibar, while Barcelona beat Real Sociedad 1-0 in Andres Iniesta’s last game for Barca. It was a sensational finish to Serie A, with Inter Milan scoring two goals in the final 15 minutes to beat Lazio 3-2 and overtake them to steal the last Champions League qualification place. DirtyTackle scooped £55 in our £2 pool with eight correct predictions, including wins for Inter, Barca and the draw between Atletico and Eibar.

IPL Fantasy Pick 5 Pools: It was all to play for in the final round of IPL group matches with four teams chasing the final play off spot. Rajasthan Royals saw off Royal Challengers Bangalore by 30 runs which ended up sealing their place in fourth, while knocking out RCB in the process. Rahul Tripathi’s unbeaten 80 led the Royals to 164-5, and it looked like AB de Villiers was taking RCB to victory, scoring 53 before his side fell from 75-1 to 134 all out to end their hopes, with leg spinner Shreyas Gopal claiming 4-16. SPA finished top of our £2 Pick 5, with Tripathi, de Villiers, Umesh Yadav, Krishnappa Gowtham and Yuzvendra Chahal making up their team.

A win for Mumbai Indians against rock bottom Delhi Daredevils would have seen the defending champions finish in fourth but they fell 11 runs short of 174. Rishabh Pant continued his fine season with 64 to propel Delhi to 174, while despite collapsing to 122-7, Ben Cutting smashed 37 off 20 to give Mumbai hope but it was all over once he fell to Harshal Patel in the final over.
