For the final time this season, we paid out thousands in prizes across our array of Premier League pools, on a busy final day. Although there wasn’t much to be settled, there was no shortage of drama and plenty of goals. With IPL, Players Championship golf and Spanish Grand Prix action for you to enjoy along with the Football League play offs, here’s who won what on a big weekend of sport:

Premier League Coupon: There was a three way tie for first place in our final day Coupon, with Bookiebasher, GrimReaper and Garytrinity all scooping £116 of the £500 guaranteed, each finishing with 22 points. All three players bagged 10 points for Banking Newcastle to beat Chelsea, and the Toon didn’t disappoint with a fine 3-0 victory to end the Blues’ faint chances of qualifying for the Champions League. They all scored two points for correctly predicting a Crystal Palace win against already relegated West Brom and a further point as Liverpool thrashed Brighton 4-0. All three also scored a point each as Gabriel Jesus netted a 94th minute winner for Man City at Southampton and another point as Spurs beat Leicester in a 5-4 classic.

Fantasy 5-A-Side: Gdj1976 picked up £50 for winning our last Premier League 5-A-Side of the season, with a 10 point victory over Hali74. Palace keeper Wayne Hennessey scored 13 points, helping to keep a clean sheet in his side’s 2-0 win against West Brom, while Virgil van Dijk added 12 points as Liverpool saw off Brighton 4-0. Riyad Mahrez was the big scorer with 92 points as Banker and a x2 multiplier, and scored in Leicester’s thrilling 5-4 loss against Spurs. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang contributed 11 points to Gdj’s team, scoring the last goal of Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal reign, in a 1-0 victory at Huddersfield.

Premier League Match Pools: We ran a Match Pool for each televised game, including Man City’s last gasp win at Southampton, with Jesus’ strike meaning City finish the season with the magical 100 points. Kevsreds45 won £30 in our £2 Match Pool and also won our Newcastle v Chelsea pool, Banking a Toon win and picking Ayoze Perez to score at anytime, with the Spaniard scoring twice as Rafa Benitez’ men ended the season strongly to finish a respectable 10th.

Liverpool secured Champions League football for next season with a comfortable 4-0 win against Brighton, as Mohamed Salah scored his 32nd league goal of the season to set a new record for a 38 match season. Dejan Lovren, Dominic Solanke and Andrew Robertson also got on the scoresheet, while gdj1976 continued their winning run by scooping £30 in our Match Pool, thanks to correctly predicting a home win, four or more goals to be scored and Banking Solanke to net at anytime.

Championship play offs: The play offs got underway on Friday night, with the ultimate prize of Premier League football very much up for grabs between four evenly matched teams. Derby earned a crucial 1-0 first leg victory over Fulham, who looked like they were still reeling from narrowly missing out on automatic promotion. Cameron Jerome scored the only goal just after the half hour mark, and it was TOWIF who won our Match Pool, thanks to Banking a home win and for picking Jerome to net at anytime.

Championship big boys Middlesbrough and Aston Villa did battle on Saturday, with Villa taking a narrow but vital lead back to Birmingham, with Mile Jedinak’s early goal enough for the visitors. MattHeasman was the victor in our Match Pool after Banking a Villa win.

IPL Fantasy Pick 5 pools: The IPL is heating up as we enter the do or die stage of the league season, with just a week to go before the play offs. Kolkata Knight Riders moved into the final play off spot, with a 31 run win against third place Kings XI Punjab in the highest scoring game of the season. KKR posted a mammoth 245-6, thanks to makeshift opener Sunil Narine’s belligerent 75 off just 36 balls, while skipper Dinesh Karthik also added a brisk 50. Despite KL Rahul’s 66 off 29 and Ravi Ashwin’s quickfire 45, Punjab never got close despite posting 214-8. SPA’s team of Nitish Rana, Rahul, Narine as Banker, Ashwin and Andrew Tye scooped them £55 in our Pick 5.

Jos Buttler’s fifth consecutive 50 plus score helped keep Rajasthan Royals’ hopes of a top four finish alive, while all but ending defending champions Mumbai Indians’ chances. Buttler smashed an unbeaten 94 off 53 as the Royals made light work chasing 171, getting there with seven wickets and two overs to spare. It was a three way tie in our Pick 5, with dodger, mfcrip1986 and GrimReaper all scooping £30 with Buttler scoring each player 318 points as Banker.

Players Championship Fourballs: Webb Simpson secured his first win since 2013, by clinching the Players Championship in Florida, with a four shot victory. Simpson was seven clear going into the final round, but shot a one-over 73 which was still enough to finish clear of joint second Charl Schwartzel, Jimmy Walker and Xander Schauffele. Paullovatt and jaguar80 finished as joint winners in our Fantasy Fourballs, both winning £109 for the same winning team of Jason Day, Patrick Reed, Patrick Cantlay and winner Simpson.

Spanish Grand Prix Pick 6: Lewis Hamilton claimed his second successive race win, in a comfortable victory in Spain which sees him move 17 points clear of Sebastian Vettel in the overall standings. Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas finished second with Max Verstappen third. Withnail160 won our Pick 6 for the race, with Vettel, Verstappen, Fernando Alonso, Sergio Perez, Lance Stroll and Sergey Sirotkin making up their team.

What’s coming up this week at i-pools: The IPL continues with a Pick 5 to play each day, so too does the Football League play offs, with the Championship second legs taking place tonight and tomorrow. It’s Premier League Darts finals night on Thursday, meaning it’s the last chance for you to play for big guarantees in our Predictor, which stands at more than £1,000!
