While it was bad news for Wayne Rooney on the injury front this weekend, it was good news for his name sake Rooney1972 in the Pools as he best predicted the sporting action to take down our guaranteed £2 Weekend Quickie.

He managed to score an exceptional 90/110 to turn his £2 bet into a tasty £51.61, thanks to his correct predictions of a victory for South Africa in the 2nd Twenty20 against England, a victory for Chelsea over Man City and a last group winner in the Northern Trust Open on Sunday evening, among others. Congratulations to you, and to bonified and The Professor who took home the cash in the £10 and £25 Pools respectively.

Last week's PGA Tour Fantasy Fourballs Pool went to the wire again; there were plenty of runners still in with a shout come Sunday evening but first place eventually went to TOWIF, thanks largely to a hole-in-one from Ryan Moore at the 16th. His team of Moore, KJ Choi, Francesco Molinari and Bill Haas scored him 203 points and bagged him the £100 first prize. Well done to you, and also also to Kenbanks1, tjm and Suejinski who took home the place money.

With no Premier League football this weekend, our attention turned to the FA Cup and Championship. Our ever popular Saturday Coupon was hotly contested by i-pools stalwarts pcm37 and The Professor; both players correctly predicted wins for Reading, Everton, Derby, Fulham, Huddersfield and Bristol City which helped them to an impressive score of 20 points and over £60 in prizes each. Well done to you both!

Whilst we wait on the last 5th Round match to be played tonight between Shrewsbury and Manchester United, there are plenty of pools still in the balance including our Week 29 Predikta Pool. Tied at the top on nine points are both TOONJIM and adzd1975, with Mr Incredible sitting just behind. TOONJIM looks to be in pole position with his banker played on a 2-0 United win tonight, but a 3-0 win would see adzd1975 steal first place. Good luck to both tonight and enjoy the action!

Paullomas is another who will have a keen eye on tonight's result; a draw or Shrewsbury win would see him pocket £36 in our Round 1 FA Cup Last Longest. Paul has beaten off 18 other entrants so far; The Young Pretender remains his only competitor and anything other than a Man United win would see the money heading to Paul. A great effort from both of them to get so far, and good luck tonight!

That man bookiebasher further cemented his place at the top of our February Racing Hall of Fame this weekend with another first place in our Saturday Pick 6 from Fairyhouse. With only a week of February left, he looks nailed on to claim the £50 first prize. Well done also to TOONJIM and Swillyboy, who won our £1 and £5 Sunday Pick 7 Pools from Naas respectively. You guys certainly know your Racing!

This week sees the return of the Premier League and the 6 Nations, a fantastic PGA Tour event in the Honda Classic, Week 4 of the Premier League Darts and some mouth-watering Champions League action including Arsenal v Barcelona. We'll have thousands of pounds guaranteed across the week, so there will be plenty of opportunity to spin up your weekend winnings into more cash at i-pools. Good Luck!
