Last Chance To Play For £1 Million In our Premier League Beat The Streak

This weekend marks the halfway point of the Premier League season and what a season it’s been so far. The action only hots up from here, especially with the copious amount of festive football to enjoy, starting with Arsenal v Liverpool tonight. The early start to Matchday 19 means all our big money Premier League games will close this evening, including the last chance for you to play our Beat The Streak for £1 million.

Pick a team to win their Matchday 19 game and if they do, you’ll move through to next week. Pick 20 consecutive winners to get your hands on the £1 million Jackpot Bonus, but just to make it that bit tougher, you can only select the same team once.

It’s the last Beat The Streak of the season, so make sure you don’t miss out on the chance to become a millionaire, especially as players in previous games have shown it’s not completely beyond the realms of possibility.

In our £5 Matchday 4 game, SPA managed to get halfway to the £1 million by picking 10 straight winners, which ended a couple of weeks ago when his pick of West Brom threw away a 2-0 lead at home to Newcastle.

In the Matchday 6 pool, lowball picked an impressive 12 consecutive winners and it looked like being 13 when Leicester took on struggling Crystal Palace. But the Foxes who had won four on the bounce prior to the clash, fell to a shock 3-0 home defeat, ending the hopes of lowball getting their hands on £1 million, for now at least. Both players still walked away with the prize fund, which acts as a decent consolation prize if you don’t quite manage to pick up the Jackpot.

Who will you pick this week?

Of the big six, other than runaway leaders Man City at home to Bournemouth, you would say the other five sides aren’t dead certs to win their match by any means.

Arsenal against Liverpool could go either way, with the Gunners’ fine home form but poor record against fellow top six sides, and Liverpool’s ability to destroy anyone on their day.

Chelsea travel to a revitalised Everton, who have won four in five, while Tottenham go to Turf Moor to face Burnley, who sit one point ahead of Spurs in sixth. Man Utd are also away, as they take on Leicester tomorrow night, to complete a tough set of fixtures for the majority of the big boys. Avoiding them is not necessarily a bad thing however, as it means you can keep them until later on, bearing in mind you can only pick each team once.

Having said that, there does not seem to be many, if at all, dead certs looking at the Matchday 19 fixtures, making West Ham at home to Newcastle the most tempting choice, behind Man City.

The Hammers are slowly turning things around after a shocking start to the season, with new boss David Moyes enjoying an unbeaten three match run after a humbling beginning to life at the Olympic Stadium.

This includes impressive wins at home to Chelsea and away to Stoke, while a credible draw to Arsenal. On the other hand, Newcastle are in all sorts of trouble, which isn’t much of a shock given their poor recruitment in the summer. They did have a positive start to the season though, but eight defeats in nine has seen them plumett to 18th and it looks like it will take some doing to avoid a quick return to the Championship. With form and momentum a big factor in a game like this, don’t be surprised if West Ham continue their unbeaten run to extend the Magpies horror streak.
