Arsenal? Everton? Who Will You Pick To Win In Another Beat The Streak for £1millon?
Thursday,December 6,2018

It’s that time of the year where the Premier League action comes thick and fast, with the all important festive period dominating the rest of December. As soon as one matchday finishes another arrives, which is great news to all the i-pools punters, giving you the chance to get your hands on plenty of big winnings, including the £1 million Jackpot in our Beat the Streak game. However, there are only a few opportunities left for you to chance your arm, with a brand new game to play until matchday 19, so make sure you get your week 16 entries in this weekend.

The rules couldn’t be simpler; pick a team to win their match each week to move through and 20 consecutive winners bags you the Jackpot, but you can only pick the same team once throughout.

Whether you're still in one of our previous games and running out of options or starting afresh, here’s a look at who might be worth picking for week 16:

Will you take a risk or play it safe?

If you’re playing a brand new game and want an easy passage through, there are a couple of decent options to go for. Arsenal are now 20 unbeaten - 13 in the league - and you’d be hard pressed to see many backing against them making it 21, at home to Huddersfield. After two wins in three, the Terriers are fresh off back-to-back defeats, struggling to find the net scoring just 10 so far this season. The Gunners should pick up maximum points come Saturday, while unbeaten Liverpool face a tricky trip to Bournemouth, and considering the Reds will face plenty of favourable sides at home, they might be worth avoiding this time around.

The same could be said for Man Utd, who have drawn three in a row, including 2-2 draws at home to Southampton and Arsenal. Jose Mourinho’s side are coming under increasing pressure, making their clash against Fulham this weekend far from being a foregone conclusion. With Chelsea hosting Man City, both should be left well alone even if City start as favourites, while Leicester will will provide Spurs with a stiff test at the King Power.

That brings Everton bang into the equation, at home to a Watford side who have been brought back down to earth after a fine start to the season, losing four of their last five. The Toffees are unbeaten in their last six at Goodison in all competitions, winning five of their eight home league games. After a disappointing draw to Newcastle and a heartbreaking last gasp defeat at Anfield, you’d think Everton will be desperate to get back to winning ways and seem a good shout to do so.

Looking further afield if you’re struggling for viable options in an existing game, there could be a couple of decent shouts. West Ham might be worth considering at home to Crystal Palace, given the Hammers’ recent run of three wins in their past five.

But our outside tip of the week is Neil Warnock’s Cardiff. The Bluebirds have started to pick up some form after a tough start to the season, with all three of their victories coming at home within the last four matches. That includes crucial 2-1 wins over Wolves and Brighton, giving them momentum going into their crucial six pointer against Southampton. The Saints have won just once all season, losing three of their past five but will be hoping the appointment of former RB Leipzig boss Ralph Hasenhutti will bring about a change of fortune. Given the fact you’d be struggling to pick Cardiff on many other occasions considering you need to pick them at some point, this could well be the perfect opportunity to do so.

Whoever you pick to win this weekend, be sure to make the most of the limited opportunities to get your hands on the £1 million Jackpot!
